				<description>By Michael  Clarke - British troops will be winding up their operations in Afghanistan by the end of next year. There may be other specialised things British troops will do thereafter, depending on what happens in Afghanistan from 2015. But sustained &amp;lsquo;combat operations&amp;rsquo; for British forces have already ended and the 9,000 British troops in Helmand will begin pulling out from the beginning of 2014.
